Who are we? – Big ambitions
We are an international food innovation platform with great ambitions. More than 40 internationally operating partners that represent a great deal of the food industry, a handful of investors and hundreds of food startups and scale-ups have already joined our club and we welcome new companies every month. So far, our first Open Innovation Challenges yielded over 800 pitches by startups and scale-ups from over 50 countries that resulted in over 500 follow-ups between brand new and established food companies that want to explore collaboration. A result we are – of course – very proud of, but it’s only the beginning. Our challenge now is to build the brand and accelerate our growth and impact where possible.

We are a young and dynamic startup company, but already have the traction of a leading food innovation platform. Our founding team members have an impressive track record and network in the food industry, the startup- and open innovation scene. You will work closely with the rest of the team and the founders so you can learn and expand your network rapidly.

Your mission
The larger our club of game changers, the larger the impact we can make. That will be your mission! You will put Brave New Food on the map as a strong ecosystem, build and guard a vibrant community of food oriented game changers – both established food companies and promising new food ventures.

It is your job to…
Develop and execute cross-platform content strategies and to explore new opportunities to attract target audiences. Next to that, you are on top of the latest trends in food innovation, you understand how to reach different audiences via different channels. Your tasks include:

  • Developing, executing and managing cross-platform content strategies to attract target audiences and keep them engaged
  • Co-writing, editing and distributing engaging content across all platforms to drive traffic, leads, engagement, sales, loyalty and brand awareness
  • Analyzing content marketing data to identify trends and anticipate customer needs
  • Creating and managing the content calendar aligned with marketing goals and oversee the execution of it

What you bring

  • At least 2 years of experience in social media and/or content marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, Dutch is a plus
  • Experience in the food sector, either B2B, B2C food and/or FMCG marketing
  • Creativity and the ability to develop original content that provokes engagement
  • Organizational, analytical and time management skills
