About the Assignment
Known as the rule-breakers in hospitality, The Social Hub is a fun, creative, and inspiring environment where everyone can work, stay, learn, and play—and most importantly—be themselves. We operate like a hotel, but we offer so much more. Think student accommodations, long and short stays, gyms, talks, events, a rooftop bar, eat & drink spots, and community and coworking spaces. Based in the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, and Spain, with more locations opening soon, this hybrid hospitality concept has taken root in Europe but is set for a global expansion.

We are seeking an experienced (freelance) System Implementation Manager to lead the implementation and rollout of our Learning Management System (LMS). This role is responsible for managing the entire implementation process, ensuring smooth integration with our existing systems, and providing an optimized user experience. You are an experienced project manager and a strong communicator, skilled at engaging and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders. Knowledge of LMS platforms is highly preferred.

What are the Specific Tasks/Deliverables?

  • Project Management
    • Develop and execute a detailed project plan for the LMS implementation, including timelines, milestones, and budget management.
    • Monitor and communicate progress, project updates, and address any concerns with relevant stakeholders.
    • Work closely with key stakeholders, including (but not limited to) Operations, HR, IT, TSH Academy, Learning Design Lab, Finance, and other department leaders to ensure their system requirements are met throughout the implementation process.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact with the LMS provider, ensuring they meet their service-level agreements, provide necessary technical support, and help support the organization’s implementation goals.
  • System Configuration
    • Oversee and participate in the configuration and customization of the system based on our requirements, ensuring it is optimized for user experience; this includes setting up courses, content libraries, user roles, reporting standards, and permissions.
    • Manage the migration of existing courses and training data into the new LMS, ensuring continuity for the organization.
    • Collaborate with vendor teams to ensure the LMS integrates smoothly with other company systems, such as HR Management Systems.
    • Ensure the LMS complies with relevant regulatory requirements, data security, and privacy standards, working closely with vendor teams and our IT & Legal departments.
  • Piloting and Quality Assurance
    • Develop and execute a piloting plan to identify and resolve issues before the system goes live, preparing for a full-scale company-wide rollout.
    • Create a continuous improvement process to identify enhancements and opportunities for optimizing the LMS, content delivery, and the overall user/leadership experience.
    • Conduct a post-implementation evaluation to assess system performance, user satisfaction, and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for further enhancements.

Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in system implementations, digital project management, or a similar role in a corporate setting.
  • Preferably knowledgeable about LMS platforms and familiar with SCORM.
  • Experience configuring digital systems to meet business needs.

Additional Relevant Skills to Mention:

  • Excellent project management skills, familiarity with Monday.com is a plus.
  • Strong expertise in data integration and migration.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset and adaptability to manage unexpected challenges.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards related to data privacy and security (e.g., GDPR).
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
